Pro Cast Stone is located in Jackson, Wisconsin. We are owned and operated by Steve Lanting, President of Pro Cast Stone. Mr. Lanting has 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has run, as well as owned, several companies in his 20 years.

While starting out as laborer for an Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS) company, he honed his skills on the wall while preparing himself for managerial duties that would be given to him later, based on his professionalism, quality of work, and reliability. His attention to detail gained him recognition with his superiors and his work ethic gained him recognition among his competitors and his piers.

Mr. Lanting eventually moved on to a steel stud, drywall, and EIFS company when offered a position that presented the challenge of building a small company. Mr. Lanting looked at the opportunity as a challenge to see if he had what it takes to truly build a company into a major competitor in the construction industry in SE Wisconsin.

While finding much success building the company for his new employers, the company chose to downsize its services and refrain from participating in the EIFS construction industry. They instead chose to focus on steel stud and drywall work. Steve, being very fond of the EIFS industry, requested permission to continue providing an EIFS service to that company’s client base under his own company, which he dreamed of opening. The owners agreed to allow Mr. Lanting to continue his service as an EIFS installation contractor under his own name and even helped him get started.

To this day, he still works hand in hand with his old employers and they have a great, continued, business relationship. Eventually Mr. Lanting began offering other services to his EIFS client base. He began to offer painting, stucco, and manufactured stone installation in addition to his EIFS services. After many years of installing more than one product, he conceived of manufacturing his own products someday. He tried several things but none captured his passion until he thought about manufacturing man-made stone veneer. Several weeks of research later, his decision was made. He shared his idea, took on some partners, and began to put his plan into action. One year of research and development later, the Pro Cast Stone Product Line was born.
To this day he still maintains an install division as well as a manufacturing division and his company’s have done work both locally and nationally, servicing EIFS and Stone projects in Arizona, North Dakota, Illinois, New York, Ohio, California, North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, and of course Wisconsin.
